YEONG/CHEE-HENG Lighting Designer, Photographer Ballet The very talented and eclectic Chee-Heng Yeong is a photographer and has been active in theatrical lighting design especially in dance performance. He also paints, plays classical guitar and designs hand-made wood working tools. Recent work has included the Cadence Dance Project Fall 99 series, the National Performance Network's 1999 Annual Meeting Showcase and in 2000, the play Mud at the Providence Black Repertory, and Rhode Island Ballet Theatre's spring performance of Dream Catcher. She has appeared in The Nutcracker, Dracula, Alice in Wonderland, Carnivale of the Animals and Paquita. She has a degree in English from the University of Hartford.
