BLOOD FROM A TURNIP

What could be better in May than sweeps week?... That's right, theatrical powerhouse, Vanessa Gilbert and much-sought-after puppet mogul, Marsian have joined forces to bring you an all new Blood From A Turnip. This latest installment - the season finale of Rhode Island's Only Late Night Puppet Salon - features an all new crop of performers which include Uncle Nappy (Jim Napolitano), Dan Goldrick, Jessica Crandall, Leslie Wicks with charming musical interludes by Matt Everett.

When asked where she came up with the name, Blood from a Turnip, founder, Vanessa Gilbert explained, "It came to me in a dream about squeezing life from vegetables. "

"And this episode is all about new blood" added Marsian, "from puppeteers who are new to the 'Blood From A Turnip' venue to performers who are new to puppetry . . . These acts are so five minutes from now!"
