For an eighteen-month period (1999-2001), the Task Force met regularly to provide public opportunities for dialogue, to discuss research and to hear testimony from national and local arts and education experts and practitioners, parents, teachers and administrators. Surveys of arts learning opportunities were also conducted statewide. Copies of the Executive Summary (a brief overview of the findings and recommendations) as well as a full report can be obtained from Rhode Island State Council On The Arts or downloaded in pdf format from their website (see below).
