Open for Dancing is a week-long celebration of historic Newport landscapes and includes classes, lectures, receptions and children's activities. Choreographers Daniel McCusker, Bridgeman/Packer and Amy Ragsdale along with musicians, film makers and visual artists have created new works for the Sunken Garden at the Elms mansion, Rough Point and Ballard Park. Dancers and non-dancers alike are invited to participate in the rehearsal process and performances! Island Moving Co will perform each weekend evening at Fort Adams. Trolleys will be available to transport audience and dancers from one site to another. Tickets and T-shirts may be ordered at OFD ORDER FORM or at 401-847-4470. See riDance's Dance Company News For more information about the choreographers. |
