SHADOWS 1959, the second play, is based on the true story of Jan Flimil, who rescued 200 Czechoslovakian Jews during The Holocaust and subsequently waged his own private battle against the postwar Communist regime. PERVERSION INCOGNITO 8pm APRIL 16 & 17, 2004 Price: $15 Information and tickets: 401-831-9479 This rousing musical comedy is the portrait of a curious mind that is rendered mildly corrupt by pitfalls of misinformation. Originally performed to enthusiastic crowds in New York City at Catch a Rising Star and the Westbank Theater, Perversion Incognito is Elizabeth Anne Keiser's tribute to heroic teachers and parents who, try as they might, are not always able to prevent a child's mind from creating its own accidental reality. The piece stems partly from Keiser's experience working in schools across Rhode Island, and it is an updated version of the performance that was most recently featured locally at Stitches Komedy Kafe. Whisper Into the Glass by guest choreographer Kelli Wicke Davis, with original score by NYC composer, Marty Beller, and performance by Rocha - Traveling through a raw and emotional journey, this primal and intensely physical dance gives all and more to the viewer.
